Welcome to The Room, where children and young people can get information about the Welsh Ambulance Service.
The Welsh Ambulance Service responds to accidents and emergencies. We also transport some patients to and from hospital appointments.
We cover the whole of Wales 24 hours a day, every day and try to give the best care possible to all of our patients.
NHS Direct Wales is also part of the Ambulance service. They give health, advice and information to people on the telephone and through the website www.nhsdirect.wales.nhs.uk.
Inside ‘The Room’ you can find out what is an emergency and when you should call 999, what different career opportunities are available in the ambulance service. You can also tell us your story if you have ever used the ambulance service.
