You Could be Eligible for our Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service

From the information you have provided it seems you could be eligible for our Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service.

Answer my call

If you have read all of the information, our Frequently Asked Questions and tested your eligibility on here, and believe you could be eligible for our patient transport please call 0300 123 2303 Monday to Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday 8am-3pm , where a member of our team will assess your transport needs identifying your mobility, determine the type of vehicle and level of support required from our staff.

Prior to calling please ensure you have the following available;

NHS Number;
• Telephone number;
• Name of the hospital/dept. you are visiting and;
• The date & time of your appointment.

During the call you will be asked a series of questions that will determine whether or not you are eligible for transport. Your eligibility will be based on your medical need and risks to your health that mean it would be detrimental for your condition or recovery to travel by any other means.

Coordinate my Journey

If you are found to be eligible your transport will be booked and you will be offered a text reminder to a mobile phone 48 hours before your booking. (this message will remind you of the time and date of your booking and ask you to confirm if you still require the transport).

If you are found NOT to be eligible for our transport service we are able to advise you of alternative methods of transport suitable to your needs to enable you to make your own arrangements to your appointment.

If those alternative transport methods incur a cost, you may be able to claim back some or all of the travel costs from your Local Health Board if you are receiving any of the following;

Income support benefit;
Income based job seekers allowance;
Working tax credits or child tax credits, or;
Hold a HC2 or HC3
