Staff Awards 2019

9th October 2019

Every year the Trust holds a ceremony to recognise those individuals with long service and good conduct, and celebrate the fantastic work taking place within the service.

As well as those traditional long service and good conduct awards, there are category awards aligned to the Trust’s behaviours including for personal excellence within your area of work, team of the year and inspiring others.

The Trust welcomes nominations from everyone, including staff, volunteers, patients, members of the public and partners.

Chief Executive, Jason Killens, said: “We could not function as an ambulance service if it were not for our staff and volunteers, so it’s really important that we celebrate their contribution.

“Awards ceremonies are a brilliant way to recognise the sterling efforts of our colleagues who demonstrate overwhelming commitment and do a great job for the people of Wales, every day.

“Often, our staff don’t realise that what they do is special; they see it as part of their daily job, so the Staff Awards are an opportunity to pause and reflect on their achievements and to say a big thank you.

“We heard some incredible stories of dedication and commitment at last year’s ceremony, and I already know that this year’s event will be even bigger and better than before.

“I’m so inspired by the excellent service we provide across all aspects of our work, throughout the whole organisation, and I look forward to seeing this year’s shortlist.”

There are 12 categories in which to nominate this year, including:

EMS Award (Unscheduled Care)
NEPTS Awards (Scheduled Care)
CCC Award
Support Services Award
Team of the Year Award
Learning & Innovation Award
Inspiring Others Award
Great Listener Award
